Marin Čilić is a Croatian pro tennis player who has won 20 ATP singles titles.

His highest ranking is world no. 3 in singles which he achieved on January 28, 2018.

In doubles, his highest ranking is world no. 49.

He was born on 28 September 1988 in Medjugorje, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina which is now Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He started to play tennis with his younger brother Mile and turned pro in 2005.

-He has won 20 singles titles by the ATP, which also makes him one of the 6 players who have 20 titles and still being active today.

-He was a runner-up at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships and the 2018 Australian Open.

-He participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics games and won a silver medal in the doubles tournament with the world no. 29 in October 2013 Ivan Dodig.

-In his home country, Marin Cilic is regarded as the best Croatian tennis player of all time, alongside the former tennis player Goran Ivanišević (world No. 2 in July 1994).
