As you can see, all the stronger tennis racket brands, including the American ones, are not made in the USA.

If you’re looking for a tennis racket that is made in the USA, you might have to look harder – and be prepared to pay more.

But honestly? that’s not worth your money and effort.

You can trust the big brands like Wilson, Head or Prince for example, although they are not made in the USA.

They are still great rackets and honestly – there is nothing wrong with the fact that they are made in China.

The quality is still there and you’re paying less for a great racket.

Just look at all the famous and pros player who use them – including the American ones.

They all trust these big brands, even if their rackets are made in China.

  1. Before the year 2000, I owned a Bancroft tennis racquet (Player’s Special and Tear Drop) made in the USA. They were wooden racquets but were made well. Back then, China manufacturing were limited in the USA until outsourcing was considered a cheaper way to make tennis racquets. If manufacturers comes back to the USA, products can once again dominate in producing quality products. In comparison, most pickleball paddles are made in the USA, only because the game is popular in the USA. If pickleball becomes popular worldwide like tennis, then China will manufacture most, if not, all it products.
