We will discuss the company’s history, its products, and why you should or should not buy their rackets.

So, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, keep reading for the facts on Snauwaert tennis rackets!

Snauwaert tennis rackets: Are They Good?

Snauwaert: Let’s meet the brand

Snauwaert is an Italian company and manufacturer that has been manufacturing sports equipment since 1928

The company was founded by the two brothers-in-law Valler Snauwaert and Eugeen Depla.

Those brothers worked in a car garage in Beveren, a Belgian city near Antwerpen.

Cars were still being built entirely of wood at the time. so the brothers got a lot of experience with wood.

After a few years, they decided to use this knowledge to start making wooden sports equipment like canoes, sleds, hockey sticks – and of course tennis rackets!

Their experience, passion, and devotion to sports quickly made Snauwaert a respected and well-known name in the world of sports.

World War two affected the company as the rest of the world, and after it seems the war is finished, and Belgium became free, Valler passed away in 1945.

But instead of closing the company down, Eugeen (the other brother-in-law) decided to continue their work and keep the Snauwaert name alive.

During the big changes in tennis and tennis rackets during the 1970s and the 1980s, Tennis became very popular in the US, wooden rackets became “old”, replaced by graphite rackets and many new brands for tennis came into the market like Wilson-

Which gave Snauwaert a very hard competition in the tennis racket market, but they are still here after all those years!

Today, Snauwaert focuses on tennis and paddle tennis, and their main product is the rackets for those two sports.

Their slogan is “We serve tennis” and their mission is to “provide the best possible tennis experience for our customers through continuous innovation and a focus on quality”.

Who owns Snauwaert?

Snauwaert is now based in Italy and they are owned by NOXI s.r.l.

Roberto Gazzara is the company’s CEO, having previously served as a director of Prince Sports and designer of the current product line of the brand.

Is Snauwaert a good brand?

Now that we have introduced you to the brand, let’s answer the question: is Snauwaert a good brand?

Well, this depends on what you are looking for in a tennis racket.

Snauwaert has been making sports equipment since 1928 and they know their stuff when it comes to tennis rackets.

The company’s focus on quality and continuous innovation means that they are always improving its products and keeping up with the latest technologies.

However, Snauwaert is not as well-known as some of the other big brands in tennis, such as Wilson or Babolat.

So if you are looking for a racket with a well-known name, Snauwaert may not be the best option for you.

But if you are looking for a quality racket from a reputable brand, then Snauwaert is worth considering!

Are Snauwaert tennis rackets good compared to other brands?

This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on your individual needs and preferences.

However, Snauwaert rackets are high-quality products that stand up against the competition.

They may not be as well-known as some of the other big brands, but this does not mean that they are any less good!

Another good thing about Snauwaert is that they only focus on 2 sports: tennis and paddle tennis, and their one main product is just rackets.

That means that they know what they are doing when it comes to making tennis rackets and you can be sure that their products are of the highest quality.

So, if you are looking for a good quality racket from a reputable brand, Snauwaert is worth considering!

Are Snauwaert tennis rackets any good?

Snauwaert tennis rackets are very good! They are made by a company with a lot of experience in the field and they are always improving their products.

They have a wide range of tennis rackets for all types of players and they are always up-to-date with the latest technologies.

You can easily find a Snauwaert tennis racket based on your playing style or even what you want – a better spin, control, power, or smooth.

They have 2 main series:

The first series is the Ellipse Shape rackets which include Grinta 98 and Grinta 98 Tour.

They are very good rackets for the attack, power, control, and spin.

The second series is the Pentagon Shape rackets which include Grinta 100, Vitas 100, and Vitas 110-115.

those rackets are perfect if you search for spin and power, feel and comfort.

Besides tennis rackets, the company also has all the accessories your racket needs – from strings, grips, dampeners, and overgrips to bags.

Which pro tennis players use Snauwaert tennis rackets?

Some of the biggest names in tennis have used Snauwaert rackets at some point in their careers, including the famous John McEnroe, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, Miloslav Mečíř, Tomáš Šmíd, Mikael Pernfors, Vitas Gerulaitis, Brian Gottfried

However, the company does not currently sponsor any professional players.

The Snauwaert Ergonom tennis racket

I can’t write an article about Snauwaert tennis rackets without mentioning the “Ergonom” tennis rackets-

The Ergonomic tennis racket is one of the most unusual tennis rackets ever developed, and even though the racket was produced in the 1980s, it still looks weird today.

An Italian entrepreneur named Carlo Gibello developed the racket, which features a turning head that is said to stay in line with the ball’s trajectory longer than a standard racquet.

As a tennis player and as an obsessive guy about tennis rackets, my brother bought me this racket for my 26 birthday and I even played against him with this racket-

And I believe it was the most fun match I ever played with. I just couldn’t stop laughing about what my racket looked like.

The Ergonomic is not on the market anymore (and it’s no wonder why), but if you are a tennis racket collector, it’s a cool piece to have in your collection.

So if you ever see one for sale on the internet, it might be worth picking up just for the novelty factor!

In conclusion

Snauwaert tennis rackets are a good choice if you are looking for a high-quality racket from a reputable brand.

They have a wide range of rackets to choose from and they are always up-to-date with the latest technologies, so you can be sure that you are getting the best product possible.

Plus, some of the biggest names in tennis have used Snauwaert rackets at some point in their careers, so you know that you are getting a quality product.

So if you are looking for a good quality racket, Snauwaert is worth considering!

About Me

Hi! I’m Matt Olsen, and I’ve been playing tennis for over 10 years. Tennis is my life!

My favorite part about being a professional tennis player? Playing the game. My least favorite part of this job? Sitting on the bench after having to retire from a match because of an injury (it’s still fun watching the teammates play, though!).

One secret that helps me keep up with all my training? Choosing the best tennis racket that suits me. In fact, it’s one of the reasons why I started this site Tennis on Flame, where I help people find their perfect racket!
